Conservative Council’s £200k Attack on Buses to Hit Villages

Swindon’s Conservative Council are planning to axe £200,000 funding from the borough’s bus service.

Local resident Fiona McAnespie said, “As a resident of Hinton Parva I know how much of a lifeline the bus service can be for the villages.

“I’m saddened that the Conservatives are yet again taking the villages for granted by threatening the bus service.

“I shall be playing close attention as to whether our Conservative councillor will vote for this cut.”
