Margaret Mistry

Margaret is 73 and moved to Swindon 40 years ago as an assistant accountant. Her love of animals is a major part of her life together with a love for Formula One racing, Coate Water, opera and firemen! Margaret says: Swindon is right to be proud of its art, heritage and open green spaces.  We should see the return of the Big Arts Day with a plan for financial sustainability.  Historic buildings, like Mechanics, Locarno and Technical College need to be protected and plans progressed. We need a new home for the Museum and Art Gallery, and the Arts Centre should be welcoming and accessible to local groups. We should make sure that our parks and gardens are kept clean and open to all for everyone in Swindon to enjoy.
