James is 45 and has lived in Swindon for the last 20 years. James and Anita have a 9 year old daughter who goes to school locally. James says: Swindon should be an attractive place to the outside world with lots to offer and our cultural assets shouldn’t be seen as a burden by the Council. Lydiard Park is important to Swindon and the Liberal Democrats have always campaigned to protect it. 10 years ago we successfully campaigned to stop people having to pay to park at Lydiard Park and we continue our support for the House and Park by opposing any plans that might emerge to give Lydiard to private profiteers.
